The founders of our church

I have as my 'screen saver' this picture of Ruth Morton church in 1913. It reminds me that there is a huge tradition at Ruth Morton church of faithful Christians whose sole aim was to see the gospel of Christ go forth from this church. What challenges those early Christians must have had! Building a church from scratch on land which only a few years before was untouched brush or forest. But they had a vision. It's one we can recover in 2011!
