The Fellowship of Evangilical Baptist Churches Pacific has, in their Nexus newsletter, highlighted eight churches that have been serving communities in British Columbia for the past 100 plus years: First Baptist Kamloops, Ladner Baptist, Collingwood, Ruth Morton, Maple Ridge, First Eburne (now Marpole), Sapperton (now New West Community Church), Saanich Baptist (now The Well at Centennial Park). Though most have moved about within those communites Ruth Morton is still in the same building on the same spot, 27th and Prince Albert in Vancouver, and still retains its original name.
