Call to Worship

What a picture. People crying out to Jesus for help, for healing, for salvation. Will he listen? Does he care? Will he draw near? Oh Yes in Jesus we have a friend, a healer, a Savior. This is Jesus our Savior. He is our only hope.

“Thank you Jesus” said the Samaritan who alone returned to give Jesus thanks. Let us also come to Jesus with thanksgiving in our hearts and praise the Lord for His goodness towards us.

Prayer

Let us like these Lepers pray for God’s mercy over us. Let us pray that we would not simply fall in love with his blessings but that we would fall deeper in love with Jesus. Let us pray that not one but many will return to Christ as Savior and Lord. Let us pray for His mercy and compassion over our city and country and over the globe and that He would bring His power and healing to bear upon those who are inflicted and affected by this disease. May his people be sensitive on how to make Him known to a world in need of His truth and grace.

Benediction

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  Matthew 11:28-30
